| This year we had the opportunity and we mustered up eight soldiers and took an active part in our town's Memorial Day Ceremony. Aside from marching in the parade, we had the opportunity to stand vigil next to a number of Union soldiers' gravestones, marking those who fought to preserve the Union and were now buried in our cemetery, and also fired the volley that raised the flags from half mast to full mast. In addition to this, some of our members also "performed" in Memorial Day services in alternate town's as well. |
